The registration cost is only $300 US, thanks to generous funding from the Center for Marine and Environmental Radioactivity (CMER), the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science in Xiamen University (MEL), China, our local hosts at the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras, and support for onsite radiation detectors by Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc. and RaDeCC Scientific Computer Instruments.


This fee includes housing and breakfast at Hyatt Place, City Center in San Juan (shared room, up to 4 nights), local transportation to/from hotel to the University, workshop materials including field sampling costs.  Local participants will not be offered housing or transportation assistance.
Lunches and snacks will be provided at the workshop, as well as an evening welcoming reception on Feb. 19th and a final workshop dinner on Feb. 22nd.  


Reimbursement for air travel may be requested for those traveling from outside of Puerto Rico.  The application form contains information on applying for these travel funds.Any participant not requesting housing may request that the registration fee be waived.
